- How often do I use Purelight on my mattress?
Usually dust mite’s egg hatch within 3 to 4 days, after purchasing Purelight we recommend to use twice a week for a month. Thereafter use it once a week.
- How can I know whether germs are killed?
Dust mites and bacteria are too small to see with the naked eye. We need a microscope to see bacteria and most households do not have one. The FITI Testing, Research Institute (Korea), KITASTO Research center of environmental sciences (Japan) and University of Milano (Italy) has tested our product and found that it kills 99.9% of germs.
- Why do I have to push the button rapidly to start Purelight?
This is a safety feature. Always push the switch once to turn off, then push 2, 3, or 4 times continuously to set the desired mode.
- Is it OK to turn Purelight on and hang while person is sleeping in the room at the same time?
We do not recommend using Purelight while person is in the room, which also includes all other pets (dog, cats… etc.) or house plants. Use it in the room when no one is present.
- Is it OK to see the re action of UV-light while I’m using the Purelight?
Yes. It is OK to see UV light reflection that coming out form Purelight. If you are very sensitive to Ultraviolet, wear UV protecting sunglass that comes with Purelight. Attention! Never expose unprotected body parts or eyes to direct UV-C light! Never look directly at the switched-on UV-C lamp!
- How does the Purelight XD differ from the ED in detail?
The Purelight XD has a special UV band pass filter. The filter reduces unnecessary UV light and for safety reasons reduces the power not needed. It reduces reflection to protect users from UV light. The Purelight ED has only one aluminium filter which protects the lamp from external influences.
